The format of the meeting will be a presentation and overview of the city’s draft to overhaul Syracuse’s zoning ordinance by the project team, followed by an open discussion for questions and comments from the audience.
The public is encouraged to attend, city officials said.
“The release of the Consolidated Draft is a milestone for the ReZone Syracuse project,” the city said in a statement. “It includes all three previously prepared modules combined for the first time, and incorporates edits, revisions and some new material based on public input, policy and reviews by the project team. The draft will be posted on the city’s website on March 9.”
According to officials, the city will hold additional public meetings in neighborhoods later this month.
Details will be forthcoming.
Funding for the “ReZone Syracuse Project” is being provided through a Cleaner, Greener Program grant from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.
