Clinton Unveils Five-Point U.S. Manufacturing Plan While in Syracuse

clinton (1)Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton revealed a five-point plan to boost U.S. manufacturing, while on a visit to the Institute of Technology at Central High School in Syracuse, Friday morning.

Clinton’s plan includes the following, according to CNY Central News:

1. Establish “Make it in America Partnerships,” to make America the first choice for manufacturing production, by harnessing regional strengths.

2. Prevent foreign countries like China from abusing global trade rules, and reject trade agreements that do not meet high standards.

3. Revitalize the hardest-hit manufacturing communities.

4. Crack down on companies shipping jobs, and earnings, overseas – and create incentives for companies to bring back jobs to the U.S.

5. Invest in America’s manufacturing workforce to ensure they will always be the best in the world.

Clinton was also scheduled to speak at a rally in the F Shed Regional Market later Friday afternoon.
