Syracuse Inner Harbor developer COR Development Co. said the company never paid any money to Joseph Percoco, a former aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo who is currently being investigated for receiving outside income from companies doing business with the state.

U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara’s office is currently investigating Percoco’s financial disclosure forms, which declared he received between $50,000 and $75,000 from COR in 2014.

“COR Development did not hire, retain or pay Joe Percoco in any capacity, and intends to fully cooperate with any investigation into this matter,” COR spokeswoman Maggie Truax said in a statement April 30.

Percoco left his job with the state last year to begin work with the The Madison Square Garden Company, and, state officials said the move had been unrelated to the investigation.

According to Gov. Cuomo, the governor’s office plans to fully cooperate with the investigation, and the state will be conducting its own, internal review of the matter.
