Eastwood Neighborhood Association Announces “Curb Appeal” Contest

By Staff

ENAThe Eastwood Neighborhood Association (ENA), along with Mayor Stephanie Miner, announced the Third Annual Eastwood Neighborhood Curb Appeal Contest Tuesday, May 19, at the corner of Shotwell Park and Melrose Ave., in the heart of the Eastwood neighborhood.

According to ENA officials, the Curb Appeal program recognizes homeowners who put in extra time and effort to beautify their properties.

In addition, the family with the winning home will receive a $500 gift certificate for an exterior home improvement project, or supplies purchased from a member of the Home Builders and Remodelers of CNY. And, ENA said each nominee will also have the additional chance to win a $100 home improvement gift certificate.

The public can nominate the most beautiful and/or well-cared for Eastwood houses by mailing a photo of the house, along with the address, and any contact information to ENA, or by emailing the same information to info@eastwoodneighbor.com.

ENA will then choose 20 homes from the submissions as the 2015 Eastwood Curb Appeal Nominees; and group members will select a winner during the organization’s annual meeting Sept. 15, officials said.

Email info@eastwoodneighbor.com for additional information regarding the program, or to learn how to become an ENA member.
