Mayor Stephanie A. Miner will travel to Washington, D.C. February 6—February 8 for a roundtable discussion as part of the Governing Institute’s Women in Government Leadership program. This is the second in a series of three meetings the group will hold.
“It is an honor to join these distinguished women leaders from across the country to discuss the challenges facing government at all levels and the innovative ways we can address our common issues,” said Syracuse Mayor Stephanie A. Miner.“ I appreciate the invitation of the Governing Institute to participate in this worthwhile discussion with colleagues from across the country.”
The Governing Institute Women in Government Leadership Program is a bipartisan network designed to create an expanded network of women who hold elected and appointed positions in local and state government. It includes mayors, state legislators, statewide elected officials, and cabinet officers from states across the nation. The group’s first meeting was a leadership held in November.
