13 Year Old Stabs Another Teen During Fight
A physical altercation among a group of teenage girls on Saturday afternoon escalated into a stabbing incident, resulting in a 14-year-old girl sustaining a wound to her shoulder, according to local authorities.
The Syracuse Police Department responded to the scene at 1017 S. Geddes St. at approximately 2:51 p.m. following reports of the stabbing. Upon arrival, officers discovered the injured girl, whose shoulder had been stabbed. Sergeant Thomas Blake, spokesperson for the Syracuse Police Department, stated that the girl received immediate medical attention at the scene, where her wound was closed using five staples.
Following further investigation, a 13-year-old girl was taken into custody in connection with the stabbing, Sgt. Blake confirmed. However, both the victim and the suspect remained silent regarding the cause of the altercation, providing no information to the police.
