BABY B.A.C.K. Inc. Launches City-Wide Lead Poisoning Awareness, Giving Out $2,500 in Prizes


BABY B.A.C.K. INC. will be launching a lead poisoning awareness campaign called ‘Get the Lead Out’ with support given by LeadSafeCNY, an initiative of the Central New York Community Foundation.


The campaign is being developed to educate and provide awareness about the impact lead poisoning is having on young kids in the city of Syracuse.


‘Get the Lead Out’ will feature an educational quiz about lead poisoning that students and people in the community can take. Entrants will be entered into a random drawing-eight winners will win up to $1000.


The campaign officially launches on Wednesday, September 13 and will conclude on October 25.


On Tuesday, September 12, BABY B.A.C.K. INC. will be hosting a campaign launch event from 6 - 7 pm at

their office, 610 South Salina Street, Suite 1, where they will be speaking more about the upcoming lead campaign.


This presentation will finish with a block party event f, hosted by the Onondaga County Health Department in partnership with Black Health. The event will feature free food, music, a new lead testing van and more. The block party will start at 4 pm and is being held in the parking lot of Dunk and Bright at 2648 S Salina St.
